Pay scale- 5200-20200 plus GP of Rs. 2000/-.
Application fee- The General Category candidates and dependant daughters of ESM are required to
pay application fee of Rs. 100/- to be deposited in Haryana Government Treasury under
head “0051-Public Service Comission-NA-104-UPSC/SSC Examination Fees -99-Fees from
application to the Haryana Police Recruitment Board. The candidates shall mention the
treasury challan number and date of the fees in the online application at the relevant Column
ESM candidates are exempted from payment of application fees.
No concession of fee is admissible to SC/BC/PHC of other States.
Qualification- The minimum educational qualification for a candidate
to be eligible for selection as constable shall be 10+2 for all categories
Age- a) Lower-18 years
b) Upper-25 years
c) (i) For the candidate belonging to the Schedule castes and
Backward class categories relexation of upper age limit of 5
years shall be given as per Punjab Police Rule 12.15 (1).
(ii) Ex.-Servicemen upper age limit is 40 years plus continuos
military service added by three years as Govt. instruction
issued vide letter No. 3/3/99-1GSIII dated 22.09.1999.
The break in service between the date of discharge and
between 1st day of the month in which enrollment process is
started, shall not be exceed four years.
(Exact date on which the date is to be determined is 01.10.2013)
Physical Standard-
(i) Height-Minimum 5’-7”
(ii) Chest-Un-expanded – Minimum 33”
Expanded - Minimum 34 ½
(Minimum expansion of one and half inch)
(Note - Relaxation in Physical Standard to the extent of one inch in height and one
inch in chest will be available to candidates belonging to Scheduled caste, backward
Class categories and Ex.-Servicemen as per PPR 12.15 (2)).
Selection Procedure-
Selection shall be made in accordance with the provisions in Punjab Police Rules
12.14 to 12.19.After due scrutiny of application forms, candidates found eligible shall be
informed online regarding the place, date and time of their Physical Measurement
